RECORD ENTRIES.
CHEESEMAN FLOWER SHOW.
Despite extraordinary seasonal weather and an unusual scarcity of flowers of all kinds, entries for the Cheeseman Flower are exceptionally heavy and promise to constitute a record.
The exhibition, which will be held in the Auckland War Memorial Museum, will be opened at 2.30 to-morrow afternoon by Mr. C. R. Ford, president of the Museum Council, and the public are invited to attend.
Only native blooms and shrubs are entered in this show, and most of the competitions are for children, who must bring and arrange their entries themselves. There is a small section for adults also, while there will be some native plants on display for exhibition purposes iinly.
