Backers seem to think the Metropolitan Handi cap is a foregone conclusion for Royal Chief or Coor«nga (says a Sydney writer) and almost all transactions eii-'I with their names.
The three-vear-old Kingdom was backed irt four States for the Melbourne Cup to win £18.000. Previously he had been backed for £I.VOOO. Ho is owned bv Mr. T. Creswick flnd trained by L. Robertson, who won the Melbourne Clip with Marabou in 1935.
