ORANGE TOURNAMENTS. The summary of the final round of the Orange Bowling Cluh's percentage fours tourney, played in the Druids' Hall, Newton, resulted :— Mansell. 3 wins ; Day 2J: Wakefield, 2 ; Mw. Mickelborough. JJ ; Scurrah, Mrs. Boles, Elmore. Douglas, Gelding, Michelborough, 1 each. J Challenge Singles.—"Star," F. Scurrah j 9, v. N. Cossey (substitute for holder) 3. Final of benefit tourney tendered by the Orange Club to the newly-formed Blockhouse Bay Club: T. Greer, H. Bailey, W. Donald, F. Harris 9." v. H. Litbgow, Mrs. Larsen, H. Boles, W. Harding 8. This game had an exciting finish. The first three players in the winning team had not played for several years prior to the tourney, but they got a nice break lii the early part of the game, leading B—'J with five heads gone. From this onwards the opposition settled down to playing good bowle and ' steadily made tap the leeway. They required two fo tie and three to win when they started the last head, and by steady drawing lay five shot* when the skips changed over. Thla position was not altered until the winning skip with his last bowl forced I _the kitty to hit only back bowl for second mot aa* tared the same. »
