WAIKATO EAST ASSOCIATION.
BHS-ENTRY. FOR THE BANNER.
Mr.- F. Livingstone (Walton) presided over the thirteenth annual meeting of the Waikato East Lawn Tennis Association, held in Matamata. The election of. officers resulted: Patron, Mr. F. Rose; president, Mr F. Livingstone; vice-presidents, Messrs. B. Neill (Matamata), H. G. Keeley (Matamata), T. Makin (Rangipai), G. Kirk (Walton), B. Dunlop (Te Whetu) ; auditor, Mr. R. L. Sutcliffe; committee, Messrs. T. Pearce (Putaruru), Gubh (Okoroire), Watson (Richmond Downs), F. Livingstone Jan. (Walton), R. Germann (Hlnuera), H. Wise (Tlrau), A. S. McKenna (Matamata) ; delegate* to Waikato. Messrs. F. Livingatone, H. G. Keeley, E. Neill, G. Kirk, T. Mackin ; selectors, Messrs. H. G. Keeley, G. Kirk and T. Pearce. The association had dropped out of the Waikato Banner competition owing to unsatisfactory treatment received in Hamilton. However, a new president and officials had been elected, and Mr. Livingstone expected that things would be better In future. _ On the motion of Mr. H. G. Keeley It was decided' to enter a team this year.
