ALLEGATION. OF THEFT. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) WELLINGTON, Wednesday. A man was arrested in Palmeretcn North this week on a charge of theft of theatre takings of the. Paramount and Roxy Theatres, Wellington. A bay containing cash and cheques totalis! about £200, takings from these theatres was last week mfesed from a hotel office' where it had been deposited. It is believed that all the chequee ?nd a large part of the cash has been recovered.
