BETTER HEALTH.

NATURAL BIRTHRIGHT.

PLEA FOR DEVELOPMENT.

"Qualify for a health certificate instead of for a death certificate," said Sister Evans, health specialist, naturapath and metaphysician, in an address delivered at a monster health rally at the Lewie Eady Hall.

Arguing that health was the birthright of every human being, Sister Evan* said that many people did not po*»ee» it in spite of the general scientific progress of the present day. Prevention rather than cure should be the aim of society and this could be achieved bythe cultivation of good habits. "Many people are suffering from automobile legs'," said the speaker, in urging that every person should walk for at leeet an hour a day. As far as eating habits were concerned she did not believe in any rigid diets. It was necessary to a void meals when under any emotional strain and to select fqods according to the individual weight, age, health and occupation. In addition, each person had a distinctive chemical formula which gave different abilities to absorb building materials. In each case there was a particular cell salt lacking m its correct proportion which, when cortected, restored the person to a normal condition.

She also urged the plentiful use of fresh air and the development of deep breathing which, together with mental enthusiasm would restore the race to the state of physical fitness desired. At the conclusion of the address the speaker answered a number of questions in relation to health, and a spectacular display of health exercises was given by Leah Taylor's physical culture girle. The soloist for the evening was Mrs. F. H. Hobday.
