THE GARDEN POOL.

The pale white lilies brush the pond. Where ferns dip many a silvered frond To touch stars in"the water there, Or kiss the daisies' petals fair. And little frogs beneath a stone. Go hopping and croaking all alone, While along the rim. a tiny snail, Leaves behind a shining trail.
