PLAYB AT EDEN PARK FEBRUARY
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Tuesday. The Wellington Cricket Association decided to suggest the following dates for its Plunket Shield fixtures:— Otago, at Wellington, to begin on December 24. Canterbury, at Christchurch, to begin on December 30. It was agreed that February was the moat suitable month for the Auckland match at Eden Park, and that the dates should be left to the Auckland Association. Mr. A. W. Duncan was reappointed sole selector, and Mr. A. T. Donnelly resident delegate on the New Zealand Cricket Council at Christchurch. WANGANT7I PROTEST. EXCLUSION FROM CAHN'S TOUR. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WANGANUI, Tuesday. A protest at the exclusion of Wanganui in the itinerary arranged bv the New Zealand Cricket Council for Sir Julian Culm's' XI. during the coming season was made at the annual meeting of the Wanganui Cricket Association. The secretary reported that he had made an * application for the inclusion of Wanganui in the itinerary, but had been advieed that no programm#" had been drawn up. He received no further advice and was unaware that the itinerary had been drawn up until he saw it published in the Kress. . An offer of assistance in securing the inclusion of Wanganui was received in a letter from the City Council, which offered the free use of Cook's Gardens for the match. , . GRAFTON UNITED. At the annual general meeting of the Grafton United Cricket Club 29 enthusiastic members attended. The club's finances were shown to be in a healthy state, there being no liabilities and assets of £50 Officers elected:—Patron. Mr. S. Hesketh : vice-patron, Sir Ernest Davis: president. Mr. D. L.
