INQUEST OPENED.
SEAMAN'S DEATH. BODY FOUND IN HARBOUR. An inquest wm opened to-day "by the city coroner, Mr. F. K. Hunt, into the death of Malcolm Macdonald, aged 31, able seaman, whose body wae found in the harbour ijear the King's wharf on the night of September 8 last. The deceased was a single man, and had been employed in the steamer Kaimiro. Deceased'e parente reside in Scotland.
After reading the report of Dr. W. Gilmour, pathologist at the Auckland Hospital, that death wae consistent with drowning, the inquest was adjourned.
