A marked improvement in the position with regard to the tneaslee epidemic in the city haa been, ehown in the past week. Out of eight big firme there are 82 case* in a total of 3787 employees, thi» representing 1.3 per cent, as against 2.0 C per cent last week. Them wan one death during the week due to complications following measles, ii boy HjfPtl 14 years dying in the Aucklnnd Hospital.
