CLAY-BIRD SHOOTING.

TAKAPUNA GUN CLUB,

In difficult weather conditions for good marknianship the Takapuua Uun Club held a week-end clay bird shoot at Barry's Point. Takapuna. There whs a good attendance of shooters and visitors including representative*! of the Pukekolie Gun Club. The principal event of the day was a. l.">bird match, which was won by L. F. Strain after a shoot-off with E. Catheart and 1* J. Henderson. Kesults :— Seven Bird Byeopener.—E. Cathcart (14yM*t shut the possible of seven birds and won outright the sweep money. G.
