C. RAYNER BEATS B. MoKAY

BLEXHEIM, Monday. Clarrie Rayner (Blenheim), 9.6, comfortably outpointed Brian McKay (Hasting). v.o, in a 12-round professional boxing match on Saturday before a large crowd. Kayner had a winning margin in nine rounds, his punching being too severe for McKay, who, however, boxed well after being knocked down in the first round. Rayner forced the fight all the -way. and with heavy ripe to the body slowed up hie opponent over the last four or five rounds. The bout was epectacular and willing throughout, but the winner wae too experienced for the visitor.
CLARK'S ENGAGEMENTS
Snowy' Clark, who leaves Auckland to-morrow by the Niagara, has a busy time ahead of him when he reaches Sydney. He has been engaged for five boute under the auspices of Stadiums, Limited.
Beginning his Xew Zealand campaign by knocking out the lightweight champion Clarrie Rayner. Clark went on to establish his reputation as one of the best of his class seen here for years. His two fights with Gildo were highlights of the season in Auckland and the public is sorry to lose him. He intends to return, however, about March of next year.
LAZEK RETAINS TITLE
VIENNA, September 19. The European heavy-weight boxing tflle has been retained by who defeated Newel on pointe in 15 rounds.
