CARNIVAL DANCE.
MANUREWA FUNCTION
A large crowd attended the fortnightly dance held by the Manurewa Rugby Football Club, which was a earnival night. The town hall presented a gay scene, being decorated with bright coloured streamers, balloons and Chinese lanterns. Monte Carlo prizes were won by Mrs. Hand and partner, and Mrs. Hunter and Mr. D. Peebles. Miss Joan Fahy played the -supper extra. Those present were: Mesdames R. Forbes, Hunter, F. Hand, D. Peebles, and Miswee L. Colli*, J. Fahy, N. Purdie, J. Hatrick, B. Barker, J.* Morton, L. Watson, J. Cooper, K. Hatrick, S. Fahy, P. Silaway, K. Dew. E. Alexander, J. Pennington, R. .Tefferyes, Donlan, J. Brett, D. Siuton, J. Xorrish. and many others.
