In many ways it appeared that other boards were now following on the lines adopted by the Auckland l>oard.
There wax disappointment that during the conference, the Minister of Public Work*, the Hon. R. I/ovejrrove naid it was a valuable experience for a new member to attend such a conference, and ho wa« very pleased to see the prominence in which the Auckland board was held. Mr. K. H. Patter, who wa« also a delegate, said the organisation was doing a tremendous amount of work in the interests of New Zealand.
Mr. .7. Snyegh said that. Mr. Remple was a man of hi* word, but perhap* family troubles, and perhaps Depnrtm«ntnl troubles, had a lot to do with the matter. Ultimately there would * a. reply, and the speaker hoped that it would he the proper one.
