THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL.
— m ( ARRIVAL AT AUCKLAND. The Governor-General, Lord Galway, arrived at Auckland hy the Limited express from Wellington this morning to receive Lord Gowrie. Governor-General of Australia, who is returning from a visit to England hy the Xiagara, in port to-day from Vancouver. Lord Gowrie was met at Prince's wharf by Captain R. F. H. Stuart-French, aide de camp to Lord Galway, and was escorted to Government House. He will be the guest of Lord Galway until the departure of the Xiagara for Sydney. Lord Galway will return to s Wellington by the Limited express to-morrow evening.
