Mr. M. Connery leaves for Wellington by to-night's Limited express.

The Hon. J. Trevethick, M.L.C.. was a passenger from Wellington by .the Limited express this morning.

Mr. Frank Goldberg, who arrived from Sydney by the Monterey this morning, will leave for Wellington by the Limited express to-morrow.

The Rt. Hon. J. G. Coates. M.l\, arrived from the South by train yesterday, and will leave for the North by car this afternoon.

Mr. George Lowson, vice-president of the Bank of Hawaii, leaves by the Monterey for Honolulu this afternoon. He is accompanied bv his wife.

Mr. W. A. Turner, supervisor of imported fruit for the Internal Marketing Department, will leave for Wellington oy the Limited express this evening.

Mr. H. G. McLymont. of Otago, -will leave from Auckland for Kngland by the Eaiigitane on Thursday to take up a short service commission in the Eoyal • Air Force.

Dr. M. H. Watt, Director-General of Health, and Dr. K. A. Shore, director of the Hospital Division. arrived in Auckland this morning on a short visit. Tliev will return South this afternoon.

Captain V. G. Webb, marine superintendent, and Mr. F. Scott Miller, travelling repairs, superintendent, of the Union Steam Ship Company, arrived from Wellington by train this morning.

Professor Henry L. Brose and Dr. Alexander McCulloeh. who have been demonstrating in Xew Zealand a system of diagnosis and treatment of cancer, have left from Wellington on their return to Australia.

Mr. W! J. Minogue. who for the past 18 months has been deputy-Chief Postmaster at Christehurch. has been appointed to the position of postmaster at Hastings. He will take up his new duties earlv next month.

Mr. D. I. Macdonald. secretary of the Canterbury Employers' Association and a foundation member of the Xew Zealand Institute of Secretaries, will leave from Auckland for London this evening. He will be the Xew Zealand Employers' representative at a conference of the Internation Labour Organisation in London.
