A series of mutches in the junior knockout competitions was played at" Remuera on Saturday under the control of the Auckland Hockey Association. In the second grade, utter Wesley mid Albertians had Hiii'wil winners in the third iTtind. the teams met ill the filial and a stirring game ended in a win for Wesley by one goal to nil. In the third grade Somerville and Mount Alliert Grammar had a hard, close game, marked hy big scoring, the final tallies being : Auckland Grammar «'.. Somerville r>. The sixth grade championship final was played between Auckland ilraiiimar and Mount Albert Grammar A. This was also a well-contest eil game and although In the second spell Mount Albert Grammar attacked strongly, the defence could not be pierced again and Auckland Grammar won the grade honours by 3 goals to 1. Next Saturday the final of the second grade championship will be played between St. J-uke's A, section winners, and Weslcv B, section winners. This will complete the season's hockey. SCORE BOARD.
