ALL BLACK CAPTAIN.
R. R. KING'S WEDDING. CEREMONY AT GREYMOUTH. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) GREYMOUTH, Sunday. The captain of the All Blacks last year and a member of the 1935 and 1938 touring teams, Mr. Ronald Russell King, was married at Holy Trinity Church. Greymouth, last evening, to Miss Pearl Dowell, second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Durham Dowell, of Greymouth. The ceremony was performed by Arch-deac-on J. A. Jermyn. The bride was attended by her sister, -Mrs. Jean Ogilvie, Misses Lois Freebury, Oamaru, and Peggy Gilooly, Christchurch. The best man was Mr. W. Diedrichs. Two West Coast Rugby representatives, Messrs. F. West and M. Connelly, were groomsmen. Over 200 guests attended the reception, at which congratulatory telegrams were received from a number of All Blacks and the co-manager of the 1938 team, Mr. Alex. McDonald. THE BARBARIANS. PRACTICES THIS WEEK. The ex-international Rugby players to meet Auckland representatives next Saturday are requested to attend practices tonight and Tuesday, at the Ponsonby Club's gymnasium, at 8 o'clock. A full master is essential.
