CHURCH CELEBRATIONS
Yesterday was observed as Sori' -j Sunday in a number of citv aud%ul.~ urhari churches. Pleasingly- decorat.-I with seasonal flowers, their interims provided a welcome contrast with the wintry condition-* out-ide. In m..-t cases an\ingcmen<s had been made t"->r the flowers, to lie later distributed to the sk-k in private home* or in hospital-. A floral festival was conducted at the Bercsford Street Congregational Church and was attended by a number of nurses from the Auckland ITospital and fro::i St. Ilelers. They Afterward received gifts of f.Divers for their patients.
