ELECTION BROADCASTS.
PROGRAMME APPPROVED.

WELLINGTON, thia day.
Tha Prim* Minister, the Rt. Hon. M. J. Savage, has approved the programme of broadcasting facilities for the general election campaign. It provide* for * continuous series, commencing on Thursday next, when the Prime Minister'? policy speech will be broadcast. The Government will get ten opportunitiea, tha Nationalists six, the Independents three and there will be the final use of the microphone on the evening of Friday, October 14, when a short message will be delivered each by the Leader of the Opposition and by the Prime Minister.
