AMATEUR CHAMPIONSHIP.
' ' fTM The amateur snooker championship was continued in Billiards. Limited* showrnoniß last evening. when J. Mollov defeated X. Oentil by two games to one. The first game was very even to the colours. Molloy then had the advantage in experience over his younger opponent and won. Oentil was steadier in the second game and potted well to win 011 the pink and black. In the third game. Molloy started with a blue, black ani'fl pink and maintained his lead to the' colours. Oentil then potted the yellow, green and brown, but "Molloy potted, the blue and pink to win the game and match.
X. A. Outtrin won from J. Morrison by default.
The tournament will be continued this evening, when E. J. Goodhew will mee 1 , E. C. Sutton at 7.30 o'clock, and S. S ; Wilson will plav if. Walker at B.T> o'clock. |
