LAWN TENNIS.
AUCKLAND CLUB
The annual general meeting of the Auckland Lawn Tennis Club •was held at the Ritz last evening, Mr. A. Satchell presiding over a record gathering. The president mentioned that the club's affairs were in a sound financial position, while from a playing point of view the teams had done very well. Mr. R. S. Burt, a vice-president, stressed the importance of looking after junior players and stated it was the intention of the club to take any steps necessary to further their interests. Fernandez: treasurer. Mr. A. Biggs; auditor. Mr. A. L. Simmons: delegates to Auckland Lawn Tennis .Association, Mr. A. Sate 1 11. Mr. -T. A. Fernandez: captain. Mr. R. S. Burt: ground superintendent. Mr. .T, Ai Fernandez: committee. Mrs. W. E. Turgis, Miss S. Whittaker, Messrs. L. Williamson. I). Marr. A. B. Crouch: ladies' committee. Mrs. 0. B. Walker. Misses X. MoLeod. K. MeDouall. R. Moller. T. Crouch; lady captain, Mrs. W. E. Turgis.
