The engagement is announced of Dorothy Mary, elder daughter of Mrs. and the late Mr. R. T. Catlow, of Epsom, to Alwyn Robert, elder son of Mr. and Mra."H. Cliffe, of Orakei.
The engagement is announced between Hilda Mary, eldest daughter of Mrs. and the late Captain P. J. Petersen, of Epsom, and James Alexander, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Longbottom, of Grey Lynn.
The engagement is announced between Jean Agnes, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Smith, of Sandringham, to Francis Hayward, third son of Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Baston, of Clevedon.
The engagement is announced between Gloria Vance, only daughter of Mrs. R. Valentine and the late Mr. W. N. L. Valentine, of Prospect Road, Glen Eden, and James, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. P. E. Martin, of West Coast Road, Glen Eden, late North Auckland.
The engagement is announced between Marjorie Rae, younger daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. J. Thomas, of 3, Clovernook Road, Epsom, and Athol Richard Lewis, youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. H. Rusden, of 600, Remuera Road, Remuera.
