SOCIETY OF MUSICIANS.
HAYDN AND MOZART.
The combined circles of the Society of Musicians met on Friday evening for the performance of works by Haydn and Mozart. A resume of the composers' lives was given by Miss Berta Carr, who later gave an address on the art of singing.
Miss Amy Hansard presided. Pianoforte sonatas were played by Miss Dora Judson, the guest of the evening. Members who contributed items were: Miss Isabel McKinnon, Mrs. Randon, Mrs. Jessie Edwards, Miss Jessie Dix, Miss Patricia McLeod, Miss Loma McLeod, Miss Hilma Moody, Miss Doris Foote, Miss Edna Smith, Miss Mary Murphy, Miss Nancye O'Connor, Miss Thelma Moore, Mrs. Poole Miss Becky Pelham, Mr*. Gully, Miss Queenie Poor*.
