The forty-sixth annual convention of the Auckland Christian Endeavour Union was continued in the Beresford Street Congregational Church with the Annual business meet ins. The retiring president, Rev. A. C. Nelson, presided over a gathering of about 50 delegates. The secretary's report, presented by Miss Massam, showed the membership to be 51 societies and gave a record of the year's work. The balancer sheetj showed a small credit balance.
Officers for the cominjr year were elected as follow: —President, Mr. H. Bristow; president designate, Rev. A. Murray Cow; vice-presidents, Rev. W. Barry," Pastor J. S. Binnie, Mr.-"A. Sutherland. Mr. Lan Lilly; secretary, Miss ff. Massam; assistant secretary, Miss G. de Wolfe; treasurer, Mr. G. Barker.
A word of farewell wu given to Pastor N. Williams, soon to leave Auckland to take up work in Melbourne.
The business meeting was followed by the consecration rally, when the roll call of societies took place and the newofficers were inducted to office.
The retiring president, Rev. A. C. Nelson, gave a short talk, also the incoming president, Mr. H. Bristow. Other speakers were Miss J. Massam and Mr. H. Maiden, who gave echoes of the recent Christian Endeavour World's Conventioi held in Melbourne.
