DAISY CHAIN CLUB.

Mrs. Lord, the president, took the chair at the weekly meeting of the Daisy Chain Club held in the Patrician Rooms, Victoria Street West on Friday. MiSj Barfoot, the secretary, opened with the reading of the thought for the day, "Just being happy," followed by the minutes of the general committee meeting, when discussions of the club's fourth birthday were asked for. Mrs. Whiteman has been chosen as hostess for the Christmas party. Novelty prizes were won by Mesdames Wells and Barfoot, the treasurer and secretary. During the afternoon a card afternoon was well patronised, the winner being Mrs. Nottingham. Hostesses for the day were Mesdames Wright, Irwin, Staladi and Smellie.
