Smith, of Melbourne, and formerly of Pukekohe, is revisiting Auckland after an absence of nearly 30 Years. The Rev. R. A. Mac Donald, of Howiclc, accompanied by his wife, returned to Auckland by the Monterey after spending a holiday in Fiji. Sir Benjamin Puller -wag a passenger for Auckland by the Limited expres* this morning. He will return to Wellington on Tuesday evening. Mr. A. L. Monteith, a member of the Court of Arbitration, returned to Auckland by the early train this morning after a short visit to Wellington. Mr. D. W. Dunlop, secretary of the Auckland Education Board, has returned from Wellington, where he attended a conference in connection with a new salary scheme for teachers. Mr. J. J. Sullivan returned to Auckland this morning from Wellington, where he represented a party of native* Deiore the Native Affairs Committee of the House of Representatives. Mr. C. E. Critchley, Australian Trade Commissioner in New Zealand, has returned to Wellington after meeting Sir tarle Page, deputy Prime Minister of Australia, who arrived at b T the Monterey. Messrs. W. T. Anderton, W. J. Broadfoot, W. P. Endean, A. F. Moncur, A. S. Richards, A. G. Osborne, C. R. Petrie. W. J. Lyon, J. Thorn, A. C. A. Sexton and F. W. Schramm, M-P.'s, were passengers by the Limited express from Wellington this morning. Mr. A. M. Parker arrived at Auckland from San Francisco by the Monterev. He has just completed a course at Trinity College, Oxford, and will temporarily replace Mr. M E. Bardslev classics master at King's College, who has gone to England to continue his studies at Cambridge.
