Death of Man Who Saved Life
Of Captain Scott. EX-NAVY PETTY OFFICER. (Received 11.30 a.m.) LONDON, July 28. The death has occurred of Thomas ficrean, an ex-Navy petty officer, who Went to the South Pole twice with Scott and once with Shackleton.
He once saved the lives of Scott and Evans by going to a base 150 miles sway and returning laden Avith food.
