WINTER SAILING.
ROYAL AKARANA CLUB.
The Royal Akarana Yacht Club held a race for railing Minghies on Saturday afternoon, starting and finishing off the dubhouse. Mechanics' Bay. There was a rery light northerly breeze, and the course took a long time to complete, only one round being sailed. The race started at 3 p.m., and after varying fortune In the light alre the nnlgh was: Swan (ser) 4h 25m; Scram (scr), 4b 27m 45«; Pet (lm). 4h 29m 559; Weona (sm), 4h 84m 10e. Result: Swan (S. Keam. 1; Scram (G. Silk). 2; Weona (N. Patrick), 3. Mr. T. McKnight wae in charge.
