CROQUET CLUBS.

Ellerslie.—Mrs. A. J. Laird presided at the annual meeting. The following officers were elected:— President, Mr*. Richmond; vice-presidents, Mrs. Kerns and Mrs. Patterson; secretary. Mrs. A. J. Laird; treasurer, Mrs. C. Chapman; match committee. Mrs. Gollan, Mrs. Christmas, Mrs. Poulton; delegates to association, Mr.s. Richmond, Mrs. Laird. Mrs. Laird presented the trophies to the following successful players:—A and B doubles: Mrs. Gollan and Mrs. Leske: B singles: Mrs. Hunter and Mrs. Brec>man; B juniors progressive: Mrs. Christmas, Mrs. Kerns and Mrs. Proctor.

Hallybarton Johnstone. —The president Mrs. F. "Breckon, was in the chair at the 'annual meeting.
