Described on the charge *heet in the Police Court to-day as a labourer Maurice .lames Brookcr (2-4) was
charged, at Hastings, between Eebruarv 4 and 11. 1!>:!K. being an employee of the T. and <;. Mutual Life Insurance Societv, with collecting sums totalling £10 j.j/4 and failing to account, thereby committing theft. Jn stating rttat accused was only arrested yesterday, Sub-Inspector Flanagan obtained a reVajid to Napier on July 11.
