ANONYMOUS DONATION.
BEQUEST TO KINGS COLLEGE
A gift of £000 has been made by an anonymous donor to King's College to found and establish a scholarship" tenable at the college. The scholar-hip is to be known as "The Marion Bruce Memorial Scholarship." it. being given in memory of Mrs. Ashton Bruce, who died in October last. Mrs. Ashton Bruce was one of the most loyal friends of King's College, with which she was intimately connected for many years, and she is affectionately rememberpd by manv generations of King's bovs.
Another pood friend of the college. Mrs. Preston Chambers, has endowed the "Prpston Chambers Music Prize" in order that the prize may be awarded annually in memory of her husband, tinlate Mr. Preston Chambers, who bad for many years given the prize to encourage an appreciation of music at the college.
