PARLIAMENTS WORK.
COMMENT BY MR. SAVAGE. PROPOSED SOUTH ISLAND VISIT. (By Telegraph.—Parliamentary Reporter.) WELLINGTON, this day. The visit by the Prime Minister, the Rt. Hon. M. J. Savage, to the South Island will take place after the Budget has been prepared. He expects this important document to be ready by the time the Address-in-Replv debate ends.
"I want to see the Budget in substance, and see what is there before 1 leave for the south,'' Mr. Savage said to-da v.
Mr. Savage also expressed the opinion that the present debate would not end thk week, but, if it did, the Budget would be ready.
