Mr. French, father-in-law of John Jacob Astor, one of the richest men in America, has accepted a job as handyman on the Boston golf driving practice range, starting on Tuesday at a salary of 25 dollars a week. lie rejected an offer to join a New York professional escort service at Hyde Park.
