AUSTRALIA AND JAPAN SIGN.

A trade agreement between Australia and Japan has been signed. It will remain in force for a year. Japan will take from 3r>0,000 to 400,000 bales of Australian wool next season. Staple fibre and piece goods are included in the import quotas of Japanese cotton piece goods and artificial silk piece goods.
