FINE NEW SCHOOL.
TE AWAMUTU'S GAIN. MOST UP-TO DATE IN N.Z. A new intermediate and high school to be erected at Te Awamutu will be the most up-to-date of its type in New Zealand. The Auckland Education Board was informed at its meeting this morning that the Department had approved a grant for the new building and tenders will be called immediately. no statement has been made regarding the amount of the grant, it is understood to be considerable. The school will be erected on a ten-acre 6ite. and will be fully equipped with spaciou? classrooms, manual training rooms of every sort, and an assembly hall—the first school of the type to be so equipped.
