FREUD AT PEACE.
WRITING WORK ON BIBLE. LONDON, June 8. Professor Sigmund Freud hopes to complete in peaceful England his work on the psycho-analytical background to the Bible. That was stated when he reached London from Austria. Left penniless by the Nazis, he was permitted to leave Vienna, which has been his home for 78 of his 82 years, on Saturday. He was accompanied to England by his wife, his daughter, Dr. Anna Freud, and his son Ernst. Another son, Dr. Martin Freud, was in the group of friends and pupils who met him at Victoria Station. "My father is very old. He just hopes to live here peacefully," said Dr. Martin Freud. "He is very pleased to be in England, which he has admired all his life. I do not know whether mv father will seek British naturalisation." Professor Freud will live with his family at St. John's Wood, in the northwestern district of London.
