The average tea consumption of the people of Great Britain is about five cups each every day. As this figure includes babies and the few who never drink tea. it is obvious that the consumption must lie higher than that. Inquiries have disclosed that a daily consumption of 10 and 12 cups is by no means uncommon, and that there are many people who habitually drink even more.
