LORRY CAPSIZES.
PENROSE BRIDGE MISHAP,
, DRIVER ESCAPES UNINJURED. The shifting of the load on a heavy transport lorry caused it to run off the road and capsize down a steep bank at the Penrose Bridge last night about 7.30 p.m. The lorry, a six-wheeled heavy freight vehicle, owned by Hjorth's Transport, was proceeding to Cambridge with a mixed load of goods when, shortly after passing over the bridge, the wheels slipped on the gross embankment and the lorry crashed into .the safety fence about 30ft from the road.
" The driver escaped uninjured and the vehicle suffered only, slight damage. Cases of goods, drums of benzine, radio sets and bags of flour were strewn along the road. After the lorry was hauled back to the road it was reloaded andj continued its wajr.
