ATTACKED AT GENEVA
Australia's Attitude to 40-Hour Week. TASMANIAN DELEGATE. (Received 9.30 a.m.) GENEVA, June 12. At the International Labour Conference Mr. C. E. 'Cullcy (Tasmania) attacked Australia's social policy, declaring that the Commonwealth was sheltering from constitutional difficulties by not enforcing the 40-hour week and thus taking an unfair advantage of New Zealanid, where the working hours were shorter.
