EVEREST CLIMBERS.
REPORTED TO BE RETURNING.
LONDON", June 12.
In the absence of direct messages to "The Times" from the Everest expedition, there is an increasing tendency to speculate whether the mountain has again beaten a party of climbers. °A message just received from Router's Darjeeling correspondent quotes coolies in the village of Gang lolc as stating that the expcclitibn is returning. The Australian Associated Press says it understands that the party's time-table at present has not been seriously exceeded. Advices from Darjeeling 'state that the seasonal rainfall l at Kalimpong is 15 inches above normal.
