Mr. Justice Fair lias left for Wellington to attend a sitting of the Court of Appeal. Mr. John Fleming, of Grafton, will leave by the Niagara to-morrow on a visit to Canada and Alaska. Mr. W. E. Anderson, secretary of the Auckland Employers* Association, left for Wellington by the Limited express last night. : , Sir William Hunt left by the Wanganella from Wellington last week for Sydney. He is expected to return to Wellington about July 5. Major R. G. Byron, military secretary to the Governor-General, Lord Gal way, accompanied by Mrs. Byron, lias left by car on his return to Wellington. Mr. Justice Reed and Lady Reed arrived in Auckland from the South yesterday, and are at the Central Hotel, j Mr. Justice Reed will preside over sessions of the Supreme Court. Mr. A. Kay, of the staff of the Union Bank of Australia, Palmerston North, has been appointed accountant and teller at the Hunterville branch. He has left to take up his new duties. The Rev. R. R. Adair, minister of the Soutlibridge - Dunsandel Presbyterian parish in Canterbury, will leave shortly for New York, accompanied by Mrs. Adair.
