METHODIST ANNIVERSARY.
Considerable interest was shown in the celebrations yesterday of the eightyeighth anniversary of the Methodist Church, ' Onehunga. Special .services were held, all being well attended.. The Rev. E. W. Hames preached in the morning and the Rev. J. D. Grocott in the evening. 1 The church choir gave the cantata, "The Holy City," in the afternoon. Mrs. Moses, Mrs. Collecoat and Mr. Johnston were the soloists. Misses Dr Foote and G. Clark sang in the Jvening.
