MEETING OF ASSOCIATION. Healthy finances are revealed in the innual report of the Auckland School Committees' Association, to be presented it the annual meeting on June 15. Total eceipts during the year were £2f!l 10/. ind the bank balance at the end of the inancial year was XliT 10/, a rise of >ver £40*Mnce 1030. The membership of the association, ■tates the report, now stands at 14S, ■omprisiiig 4S city and 103 country comnittees. This year the association celenates the twenty-first anniversary of ts foumlinjr. A special function to celejratc the event will be hold in September. A large number of remits were dis■ussed during the year and decisions vere forwarded to the Minister of Education. A wide variety of matters iffecting school organisation and control ,vere dealt with by the executive.
