WAIHEKE PRESENTATIONS
K.S.A. CLUB FUNCTION. Members of the Waiheke Returned Soldiers' Club met on Monday evening O bid farewell to their former secretary, Mr. S. K. Monteith, Mrs. Monteith and heir family, who are leaving Waiheke .■pry shortly for the Henderson district. The function, which was held at the evidence of Mr. and Mrs. G. Crichton, .ook the form of a social evening. The president of the club, Mr. H. J. I'orrijran, on behalf of the members of :he club, presented Mr. and Mrs. Mon:eitli with a cheque. Miss Joyce Mon;eith with a well-equipped work-basket, ind Dawn Montcith with a leather hand' lajr. Mr. Corvignn referred to the great imount of work Mr. Montcith had done for the returned soldiers of Waiheke nut *poke of the co-operation he had received from Sirs. Montcith and hei family.
