HARRIERS' ROAD RACE.

CALLIOPE CLUB'S EVENT

RECORD ENTRY ROUND THE LAKE

The Calliope Amateur Athletic and Harrier Club will conduct its annual road race round Lake Pupuke on Saturday afternoon. The event timed to start at 3.15 p.m. A record entry of 1-0 competitors. which includes a large number of Auckland's lcavling harriers and a team from Hamilton, has been received. The couree will commence from the Takapuna Power Station and will take a complete lap of the lake, thence down Shakespeare Itoad and finish at the power station, a total distance of three and three-quarter miles.
