AUCKLAND ASSOCIATION
ENGLISH WOMEN HERE MONDAY
Arrangements for the reception and entertainment of the English women"e ■hockey team were finalised at an executive meeting of the Auckland Ladies' Hockey Association. Mies P. H. Dawson presided. The team will arrive on June 6, a later date than had been anticipated, and will proceed immediately to Rotorua. After a eight-seeing tour of the thermal regions a practice match will be played against a Rotorua ladies' team. A mayoral reception will be tendered the visitors at Auckland on June 10, and the All-England v. Auckland match will be held at Eden Park on June 11. Mrs. R. N. Hamlin hne been appointed by the New Zealand Umpires' Association to referee this match. The annual seven-a-side tournament will be held on Monday at Remuera hockey prounds. all matches commencing a 10.40 a.m. Fol-lowing ie the draw for the first round:— Senior grade: Clevedon v.
