PROGRESS CLUB.

The Women's Progress Club met on Wednesday afternoon, Mrs. C. Dickens presiding. It was the second "bring and buy" this year, and Miss Paice was the convener; with Mrs. Chatwyn assisting. Miss Thwaite won a hand-worked apron. Musical numbers were arranged by Madame - Humphrey Steward, who was also accompanist. The soloists were Mrs. L. Meek, Mrs. G. Asher and Madame Steward, and elocution items were given by Miss Birch. Afternoon tea hostesses were Mesdanies Green, Deverick and Neave.
