BRIDGE PARTY.
DEVONPORT FUNCTION.
IN AID OF CHURCH FUNDS
The Parish Hall, Devonport, was packed this week when a bridge party in aid of the work of the Holy Trinitv Church was held. The hall was "decorated for the occasion with a canopy of interwoven streamers, and the stage and the porch were decorated with bowls of gold find autumn flowers. The gue*te were received by Mrs. B. R. Brierley, and she was assisted bj- Mrs. R. Duder and Mrs. F. Mason.
The committee in charge of arrangements comprised: Mrs. C. Prime. Mrs E. Alison. Mrs. H. Corbett. Mrs. G Carter. Mr*. MacXeil. Mrs. F. Mason Mrs. Penrose. Mrs. J. X. Waddell. Mrs F. Weight. Mrs. H. Watkins, Mrs. E A. Wriglcy. Miss E. Alison. Miss E. Blackburn. Miss Gardner, Miss M. Mason. Mice M. Duder, Miss G. Wrigley (convener).
