NAVY LEAGUE.

HIGHLY SUCCESSFUL. YEAR. Owing to the growth of public interest in naval defence the Auckland branch of the Navy League, in its annual report, notes an increase in membership from 408 adult members last year to 614 this year. Finances also improved. The report traverses the activities of the year, which proved very successful. At the annual meeting, which is to lie held on Friday, opportunity will be taken to farewell Rear-Admiral Dru»amond and Lady Drummond, who are returning to England this month.
